Energy Panel Structures Inc. ("EPS," "we," "us," or "our") operates EPS eQuote-Connect. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through eQuote-Connect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information: your name, email address, phone number, and requested dealer.
- Project information: building designs, project names, project addresses, notes, specifications, and other information you include when you save or submit a project.
- Usage and device information: information about how you use eQuote-Connect, including your IP address, browser, operating system, device type, screen information, language, and interactions with the site.
- Analytics information: information collected through Google Analytics about visits to and use of eQuote-Connect.
- Error and performance information: application errors, diagnostic details, performance measurements, and project information associated with an error or performance event.
- Browser storage: settings and preferences stored in your browser so the application can remember how you want it to operate.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, save, load, and process your building designs and project submissions.
- Respond to your request and connect you with an appropriate authorized EPS Dealer or builder.
- Allow authorized EPS Dealers and EPS employees to contact you about projects you save or submit.
- Send project-related confirmation and service emails.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve eQuote-Connect.
- Understand application usage and performance.
- Comply with applicable law and protect EPS, our users, and others.
How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to the following recipients:
- Authorized EPS Dealers and EPS employees who need the information to review, quote, support, or follow up on your project.
- Service providers that support analytics, email delivery, hosting, content delivery, application infrastructure, and error logging. These providers include Google Analytics and SendGrid. They process information to provide services to EPS.
- Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or is reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
- A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of our business or assets.
EPS does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for targeted advertising.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use eQuote-Connect. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, and interactions with the site. Google's handling of this information is described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies and Browser Storage
eQuote-Connect and Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies. The application also uses browser storage to remember application settings and preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings and can clear browser storage through your browser. Blocking or clearing these technologies may affect application behavior or reset your preferences.
Data Retention
Saved projects, lead information, analytics information, and error logs are retained indefinitely unless EPS deletes them, determines they are no longer needed, or honors an applicable deletion request. We may retain information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect our legal rights.
Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@epsbuildings.com. Please provide enough information for us to identify you and the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond as required by applicable law, and certain information may be retained when a legal exception applies.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Do Not Track and Privacy Signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. eQuote-Connect does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Because EPS does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, we do not treat browser-based opt-out preference signals as requests to opt out of those activities.
Children's Privacy
eQuote-Connect is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
United States Use
eQuote-Connect is intended for users in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page.
